The parking lot was well lit and felt very secure, and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. Our room was clean and comfortable for a quick recharge and getaway, though the units felt a bit pricey and could use more updating and better bedding and linens. We learned the hard way that calling to book gets better rates and room options than using one of the big travel sites online.
My wife was so sick and we were exhausted, so I needed a room. I paid $69 for room 116 at what is now America's Best Value Inn. It was filthy, the TV didn't work, and I couldn't get WiFi. I'm not satisfied. If I could give it no stars, I would, and when I get my strength back I'll make an official complaint.
The hot tub suite was beautiful, with a full kitchen, an office area, and a bathroom with everything in it. There was also a living room with a couch, chairs, tables, and lamps, plus a flat screen TV. The service was great, and they respected our privacy. Great place!!!
We've been coming here for five years to fish in the spring. The rates are good, and they have boat parking and charging. Staff have always welcomed us. It's right on the river. It's not a particularly nice place, but it works for us.
The rooms are decent, but they need to check every air conditioner to make sure it's working. When I stayed recently, the air was frozen up, and I thought I was going to die.
