The pool is great, and you’re basically right on the mountain. I’ve stayed here several times over the past 15 years, and it always feels like coming home. Pia is attentive, lovely, and especially helpful with big groups. The rooms are very large for the price and really cozy. It’s not as fancy as some pricier hotels, but that’s part of the appeal. It’s good for groups, and the per-person pricing makes a solo stay pretty reasonable too. Highly recommend for a relaxed mountain trip.

We had a very convenient base for skiing, with two restaurants across the street and either an 8-9 minute walk to the slopes or a frequent shuttle. The rooms were clean, the showers were good, and the living room had a huge TV, water dispenser, and microwave. There was also an indoor pool and hot tub. The front desk manager Piya was attentive and very helpful. The beds felt a little hard, but were still comfortable. I’d had some concerns from earlier reviews, but our stay went well.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the lifts are within walking distance. Local shuttles also stop on the street by the hotel entrance. We stayed this week for skiing, and for the price and amenities, this is one of the best, most underrated places on Killington access road. Everything was working, the water was clean, and the room was spotless. There’s a small bar for apres hours, plus the Killington distillery next door has great food and drinks. I’ll be back. This is my hotel of choice in Killington now :)

The rooms were much too hot, and the control on the vent didn’t seem to work. The rooms also feel badly outdated, like nothing has been updated since the 80s. There are no do not disturb signs, so housekeeping can bother you at any hour. The bathroom water looks fine until you fill the tub, then it’s very brown. If you have sensitive skin, be careful about using the hot tub. And even if you let them know your spouse will arrive a few hours after you and needs to be buzzed in, they may still give him a hard time.

The pool was warm, there was a good hot tub beside it, and the location is excellent, only a two-minute drive from the mountain. It was quiet, and nothing made us want to flee in the night, like roaches, crime, or raccoons coming in through the windows. There’s also a little bar that looked decent, though we didn’t try it. We booked last minute through the Killington website, assuming places close to the mountain would be solid. That assumption didn’t hold up. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, an old spring mattress, and the building feels very dated. There were cracks in the room sheetrock, and the whole property needs a complete remodel. It seems like the owners are making plenty from it without putting much back in. I could live with that if the bed were comfortable, but it wasn’t. The soap was meager, and it was hard to control the shower’s hot water. Staff were fine, though I can imagine it’s a difficult job at a hotel from the 80s that probably surprises guests. I wouldn’t stay again unless I had to. It was uninspiring at best, apart from the pool, and kind of bad at worst. Keep expectations low beyond the location and warm pool.
