Mountain Valley Retreat

Being so close to Killington Resort made getting out for skiing and other winter activities easy, and the mountain views around the house were beautiful. It’s a peaceful spot, too. The house itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed and a warm, welcoming feel. After long days out, it was a great place to relax. The host was kind and quick to respond, which helped everything go smoothly. I felt at home and would love to return.

I nearly slipped a few times on the very icy area outside the house, which felt unsafe. There didn’t seem to be any upkeep, like salting or other treatment. Inside, the room was very small and had no table, so it was inconvenient.

The waterfall and trails are right off the beautiful property, and Mike pointed us to McGrath’s Irish Pub for a delicious Irish stew and Guiness. We really enjoyed talking with him. The house is charming and comfortable, with a gorgeous view from our bed, which was especially comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and changed each morning. We had a delightful stay at Mike and Barbara’s B&B and will be back.

Our room had a cozy treehouse feel, and the clean space and comfortable bed made it easy to sleep well after long days on the slopes. We were skiing at Killington Resort, just a short drive away. Mike and Barb were so welcoming that we felt at home. Breakfast was hot and delicious, just right before a ski day. We really enjoyed the stay and would come back. A warm, charming option near Killington.
