The Mountain Inn at Killington

The game room and office space were a lifesaver with our 4 year old, no tantrums! This was our second visit, and Maura was so patient and helpful when I called to book. The room felt cozy and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast is open concept, with sandwiches available if you order the night before, and the gentleman working the rush was attentive and helpful. We also enjoyed the restaurant for lunch and dinner, the food and service were excellent, and there was a live show on Friday. Snowshed is about a 7-10 minute walk, or the Mountain Inn shuttle gets you there in 2 minutes. Can't wait to come back.

We came back to The Mountain Inn for a second visit, and the staff made the stay feel easy from the start. They explained what was happening and how to reach them if we needed anything, and were kind to both the adults and kids in our group. The children especially liked the game room, the big upstairs lounge with couches and chairs, and the heated outdoor pool. We tried several shareable dishes over two nights, including sweet potato fries and pita chips, and the fries were so good they showed up again on night two. Dinner that second night was delicious too. The Mountain water and Old Fashions were excellent. I have a weakness for the gift shop and left with several bottles to take home. Somehow I skipped the sweatshirts and hats this time, maybe next year. The staff really went the extra bit that made the experience worthwhile.

We loved the hotel's restaurant, it was convenient and the food was delicious. There was a comedy show the night we stayed, so we got dinner and a show. The place felt homey, and everyone was welcoming. Our two year old especially enjoyed the game room, and breakfast in the morning was great. We'll stay here whenever we visit Killington.

We ate at the distillery restaurant every night, and Jared was great about accommodating our large group. The den was also a perfect place to gather with friends and play games when we wanted to get out of our room. We spent several nights in the penthouse, which was huge and comfortable for our family and dog. The place has beautiful slope views, a generous continental breakfast, a shuttle, and an indoor restaurant and bar. Staff were warm and gracious, and the whole place had a comfortable, laid-back feel. We'd happily return.
