American Inn of Kinder

We had barely been in the room for ten minutes when my daughter almost ate rat poop. I went to report it, and the man headed straight to the bedside spot where it was, without me pointing it out. Then he kicked us out and refused to refund us. He said we’d used the room because we’d used the toilet, turned on the TV, and made coffee. Please don’t support this business.

After my house flooded, I needed somewhere to stay, and American Inn really helped me out. When I explained why I needed a room, the guy lowered the weekly rate a little. I slept well throughout my stay, and my room was cleaned every evening while I was at work. The owners have always been wonderful to me and glad to help when I needed something. It’s comfortable, clean, and accommodating, even though it isn’t a five-star luxury hotel. I’m starting to think some people are confusing this motel with another one.

They moved us when the outlet in our first room didn’t work. The replacement room was nice, but it had no towels or toilet paper, so we brought those over from the first room. We still had a good night’s sleep.

It’s an old building, but I didn’t find it filthy. I haven’t seen any bugs, and the beds are clean. I was hesitant after reading some reviews, but so far it’s been fine. Seems decent enough for a shower and a night’s rest.
