The beds were comfortable, and having a kitchen unit was nice. The gym was large with lots of equipment. The pool was smaller, but warm and had plenty of towels. The location was handy too, right by the mall with lots of food and shopping nearby. Still, this Hyatt House was a letdown compared with others we’ve visited. My husband and I were there for a weekend for our son’s birthday. The room was adequate but small, and things felt old and poorly kept. The flooring was starting to separate, and the refrigerator had several dents. The biggest disappointment was the staff. Check-in felt rushed, and the front desk person was curt. Breakfast was very subpar, with many items gone by 8:30 in the morning. When I asked a kitchen staff member for more hot water, he got an attitude and said he was already working on five other things. Our 9-year-old even asked if we could skip breakfast the next morning. For the price, I’d look at other options if I came back to the area.

The only drawback is that it’s not especially convenient to get to the trains, but this is still our first choice. We have a kid at college near Philly and have visited seven or eight times in the last year, staying at five different hotels. This one has become our go-to. It’s reliably clean, good value, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a decent included breakfast, pool, and hot tub. Thanks to Chinerra (sorry if I’ve spelled that wrong) for kindly helping me with a late checkout on 3/1.

It’s rare to find a hotel that covers all the basics this well. The king bed had four pillows, the shower had plenty of hot water and good flow, and there was enough toilet paper. There was a fridge and microwave, friendly staff, and free breakfast. Even the shower has its own soap, so you don’t have to take the only bar of hand soap from the sink. It’s crazy how hard it is to find a hotel that gets all these things right.

The H Bar is a highlight, with good food and a welcoming feel. Vannicha, the bartender, is attentive and warm, and really makes you feel at home. Breakfast has lots of options, and the dining area is spotless because the staff keep cleaning and refreshing it. My husband and I have stayed at Hyatt House three times over the past couple of years, and each visit has been consistently excellent. The front desk staff are always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, so check-in and checkout are easy. We always enjoy our stay. The service and comfort make this one of our favorite places. Highly recommended!

The night cook really knows what they’re doing. I tried the cheesesteak and meatball sliders, and both were delicious. The front desk guy was so nice and made sure I got the room I wanted. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the hotel is close to everything. I love this place!
