The day before my wedding, they moved our entire room block from the Casino tower to the Stardust tower, even though I'd insisted from the start that I wanted the Casino Tower. My mother-in-law had to contact the hotel that day. The contact might not have told me otherwise because, as she said, she didn't want to bother me the day before the wedding. That was one of many communication problems and mistakes during a nightmare from start to finish with Valley Forge Casino Resort. They rushed me into signing a contract for fewer rooms than I wanted, then refused to make any changes once it was signed. I had to ask them for an invoice for the shuttle services and bridal suite. A month before the wedding, my main contact disappeared and was replaced without anyone telling me. I only discovered the change when I called two weeks before the wedding and someone else answered. I couldn't access the bridal suite until the wedding day. At 6AM, with nobody at the Stardust tower lobby desk, I had to walk all the way to the Casino tower to pick up the key for my hair and makeup artists. The suite they gave us wasn't the one they'd shown me and promised. That one was in the Casino Tower, with two walls of mirrors, a makeup counter, and plenty of outlets. The one we got had only one mirror and limited outlets. They also booked my honeymoon suite incorrectly, so I was set to check out on my wedding day. At 10AM, still in a bathrobe with half my makeup done and no one at the Stardust tower desk, I had to walk back to the Casino tower. I bawled in front of the poor receptionist until she finally fixed the booking. Brides, don't book your wedding room block here. Take your guests somewhere else.
