Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingfisher by IHG

There were ants in the shower area and sink today, and the shower was still dirty even after staff came to clean it two days after I reported it. The shower in the room they moved me to was extremely dirty too. I’d had no working water in my original room at first, then only cold water, and it took two days to move me. The General Manager, McHenry, was rude and condescending when I spoke with her. After she hung up on me when I said I’d call corporate, she called the police and said I was being aggressive. I showed the officer a video of what happened, and he said nothing had happened and that I wasn’t told to leave. I hope this place fails. No one should stay here.

The parking lot fills quickly with big trucks because a lot of transient workers stay here, and the spaces are pretty narrow. We also ended up going to McDonalds every morning. The free breakfast was one reason I booked, but the pancake machine had been out of order since 9/6 and stayed that way through all five nights. The front desk workers were very friendly when I arrived. The room was mostly in good order, though water had leaked from the refrigerator, which looked like it had been turned off to thaw. I wiped it up with a towel, and the towel came away black, so the tile floors clearly hadn’t been cleaned well. Apart from the dirty floors, the room seemed fine.

Lindsay the manager went out of her way to make our stay great, and everyone at the front desk was kind. The rooms were spacious and clean, everything worked, and we enjoyed the breakfast. My kids were into the cinnamon rolls, while my husband liked the egg and cheese melts. We were passing through on our way to Colorado for a church service at Limitless405! The pool and exercise room looked nice, but we arrived too late to use them. We’d stay here again. Thank you! 😊

The front desk staff welcomed us, and the room was neat and clean.
