Wingate By Wyndham Kingman

The hotel was clean, and the big dirt lot beside it worked perfectly for parking my truck and trailer. The service was a mixed bag: the night staff were super nice, and so was the woman at the front desk, though she could get snippy pretty fast. I was disappointed that, for what I paid, I couldn't get a room with a microwave.

On our drive from San Diego to the Grand Canyon, my family and I spent the night at Wingate by Wyndham in Kingman, AZ. It's in a great, quiet spot off the interstate. The lobby and staff were welcoming and really nice, and our room was spacious and cozy. The beds were very comfortable, with plenty of pillows and bedding, and breakfast was included. We had a nice stay.

We stopped for a quick overnight break, and check-in and checkout were easy. The building looks new or recently remodeled, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The AC was extremely quiet, with an easy-to-adjust wall thermostat. Breakfast was good and served from 7 to 11. The kitchen staff did a great job keeping everything clean and stocked. It's close to the highway exit, too. I found better rates through the Windham Rewards app than at the front desk.

Riley at the front desk is the reason I'll keep coming back. He was friendly and caring, went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed, and gave me great local recommendations. It felt like he genuinely wanted me to enjoy the stay. Management should recognize Riley and treat him well. People like him are rare and make a real difference for guests. I stayed two nights at the Wingate by Wyndham in Kingman, and the hotel was clean and felt new. The bed was comfortable, and the hot breakfast with waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausage really hit the spot.
