The shuttle turned out to be a huge help. It’s clean, roomy, air-conditioned, and comes every 30 minutes, which saved us time and frustration in all that traffic. We also enjoyed drinks at the bar by the pool, and the food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious, though we didn’t eat at the restaurant. We brought our camper, and the campground and both spacious pool areas were exceptionally clean. Every staff member we met was kind and helpful. The dog park was roomy and clean, but I wish it had more for the dogs. There are waste bags and bins around the campground, though. We’re very pleased with our stay and will come back.

The cabin was lovely, the location was great, and we liked the pool and its bar. The staff were friendly, too. But the cabin wasn’t clean, the coffee maker was broken, and there wasn’t any coffee available in the park. We’d been told the pool was heated, but its heater apparently wasn’t working. When I stripped the beds before checkout, I found some kind of larvae. I showed a video to the front desk staff, and they didn’t seem concerned.

We haven’t stayed overnight yet, so I can’t speak to the rooms or camping. My family and I are planning a reservation soon. This is about bingo night, which is fun for families and generally run well. On 3/27/26, we went with our children. The caller clearly said that when a round had multiple winners, they’d draw cards and the high card would get the prize, with door prizes for the runners-up. There was no mention of separate prizes for children. My 7-year-old daughter tied with another player for the grand prize, a $100 Visa gift card and a $100 gift card for Ironwood restaurant at the campground. The caller immediately gave the grand prize to the adult and offered my daughter either a free kids pizza or a kids meal. He then seemed to realize his mistake, perhaps because I was clearly unhappy, and offered her both, along with a plastic water bottle and tee shirt, about $20 in food and merchandise. My daughter was left asking why they hadn’t drawn cards as the rules said. When I asked, the caller said, “we have children prizes,” though that hadn’t been explained at the start. He also said that if two children tied, they would draw. I don’t understand why he assumed she wouldn’t want $100 to spend as she chose, or why our family shouldn’t get the $100 Ironwood gift card for dinner. We all paid the same to play. We’ve attended bingo here with children before, and this isn’t the first time a child won. One previously won an envelope with a drink and appetizer, and wasn’t offered a children’s prize.

The staff were super friendly, the grounds were clean, and the location near Kings Island was great. But the free shuttle we chose the place for was so unreliable that we ended up taking Uber back and forth. There was so little soap provided that we had to buy body wash just to wash our hands and shower. The cabin fridge was broken, too, and our perishables were warm when we opened it at the end of the day, so we threw them out. Even with the friendly staff and convenient location, I wouldn’t stay again. If you want more room than a hotel for a Kings Island trip like we did, I’d look at AirBnB.

We’ve stayed twice, and both visits have been top notch. On our latest trip, Mark went out of his way to get us firewood after the store had closed. We really appreciated that and how kind the staff are. The restaurant was a wonderful experience, with live music, and the campground has all the amenities that make camping enjoyable. The staff make a real connection with guests.
