Ramada by Wyndham Medford Airport North

We arrived after 11pm because of a few flight delays, and the front desk guy was really nice and helpful. Our room on the 3rd floor was clean, including the sheets and bathroom. Breakfast was decent, with hot eggs and sausage, coffee and tea, plus a waffle maker, cereal, bagels, and juices. With so few choices in a small town, I thought this was a pretty good hotel.

The staff were polite and easy to talk to, and the location worked well for us, with good restaurants within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean. I did write to the managers about a couple things, a burned out bulb and a dirty bathroom wall, and they replied promptly and said they'd fix them. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Medford.

It isn't new or shiny, but it's clean, accessible, and welcoming. The value has been exceptional both times I've stayed, and the customer service has been beyond comparison. When our vehicle had trouble after we got back from a week away, Hawthorne lined up help from a few people they knew. I had given up, but Hawthorne had already found us a great rate for the night when old Violet decided to start up again. I waved goodbye, said "see you next year!" and made the nearly 2 hour drive home safely. Everyone went above and beyond. The facility's inclusive hiring practices also reinforce my favorable opinion.

They were patient with us and loved our dog. During a car problem on our road trip, the staff were accommodating the whole time: they let us leave the broken down car in the parking lot overnight before it went to a mechanic, allowed us to check out half an hour later, and helped us switch rooms without asking questions.
