Quality Inn & Suites Medford Airport

The room was dated but clean, and the front desk was quick and helpful. There was some transient traffic out front, though the fenced back parking lot felt secure. A light over the TV was burned out, but I barely use that light anyway. I mentioned it to the desk as I checked out, and they took note. I'm sure they'd have fixed it if I'd brought it up sooner, but I stayed just one night, so it wasn't really an issue.

The outside had me worried that I’d picked a rough room, but inside it was clean, the rooms were great, and breakfast was really good. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Medford Oregon.

I took my family in and we were out again within five minutes. The room had a strange odor, there were stains on the sheets on the main bed, and when I opened the sofa bed a roach ran out. The corridors smelled too. I grabbed everyone and checked out immediately. They must have bought the reviews, because this place stinks. If you care about your health and hygiene, think twice.

Zach at the front desk really tried to help, and I appreciated that. But I was assigned three rooms in a row, and each one smelled so strongly of cleaners or deodorizer that I couldn't breathe. I left for another hotel and never stayed here, though I was there for 10+ minutes. When I followed up, Manager Pete Patel refused a refund. Booking.com contacted them several times and got no response. This feels like a cheap way to handle a valid complaint about three smelly rooms. Don't stay unless you can tolerate that stench or a heavy chemical smell all night. 11/18 Update: still waiting for the general manager to respond tomorrow... we will see??? Rating: 👎
