Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Northeast/Mason

This was a great four-day stay, and the kids had a blast. The pool was clean and heated, and they’d added a few games and floaties in case you forgot yours. The breakfast bar had lots of good choices that changed daily. We especially liked the breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and lemon scones, and the kids loved the waffles. The location is right by Great Wolf Lodge and Kings Island. Wings and Rings is walkable and has a nice happy hour deal. We also took the kids to Kids Clubhouse down the street for a local activity. It was a good price and they loved it. This was our third visit, and it’s always clean. Best hotel we’ve stayed at by far. We’ll be back!

On a Sunday-to-Friday business stay, the TV wasn’t working properly when I checked in. It took until Tuesday to get it fixed. I was told housekeeping came every other day, but when I got back Thursday, the trash was still there, the bed hadn’t been made, and no one had vacuumed. There was only decaf, no regular coffee. This Residence Inn isn’t like the one I remember from before Covid. If I’m back in town for work, I’ll stay somewhere else.

It was quiet despite being right off the interstate, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of options. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, plus more. Perfect for an overnight stay. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

I stay here often for work, and the hotel and rooms have always been clean. It’s close to the freeway, shops, and places to eat, and I’ve always had what I needed from a Residence Inn. Service could use a little more warmth or familiarity for someone who travels here frequently, but that’s not a deal breaker.
