The front desk employees were nice enough, and the pet fee seemed reasonable for a pet-friendly place. The beds and living areas were fine, so I might stay again, but the bathrooms were gross. The bed had a stain, and there were strange liquid marks on the bathroom wall. The shower hadn't been cleaned: hair was left behind, along with an open, used mini conditioner covered in gunk. With no barrier in the shower, water spreads across the entire room. The breakfast lady kept sitting there watching people and correcting them, which was incredibly annoying. She made my niece nervous about getting her own food.

I booked two rooms through hotels.com because the price looked great and its reviews were mostly positive. The photos looked good too, but that was a mistake. If you want to sleep, don't stay here. The beds had metal frames, were very uncomfortable, and squeaked like hell. Neither room was cleaned during our stay, and we never got fresh towels. This place needs a serious upgrade. I try not to be too hard on places, but I can't imagine positive reviewers stayed where I did, unless they were bots. If the owner or operator reads this, skip the copy-pasted apology you've already sent countless paying customers and just do better.

There's a quiet location and lots of food nearby. We ate at Angelo's across the street, an acceptable Italian meal and a perfect neighborhood spot. The hotel is older but well maintained, clean, and free of bugs. The bathroom tiles had paint and grout smears, though the floors were very clean. My only room complaint was that the remodeled shower had no shelf for soap and other things.

The stay was fine. Our room had a jacuzzi tub with dead bugs near it, and the bathroom floor looked like someone had mopped and then walked over it in dirty shoes, which was off-putting. The front desk clerk was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable.
