La Quinta Inn Suites By Wyndham Kingsport

The man at the front desk was professional and did his best, including moving me after I showed him pictures of the mold and cracks in room 409’s shower ceiling. But room 309 wasn’t much better, with a funky smell and a TV that had lines across the picture and barely worked. The online photos didn’t match what I found on 12/19/2025, and I was appalled. I checked in at 815, left around 10pm, and changed hotels. No refund was offered. The owner or manager needs to inspect the rooms.

It was quiet in my room even though the hotel is just off the interstate, beside Cracker Barrel and Wendy's. After a long day of travel, the shower head felt incredibly relaxing. The room was spacious, with clean bedding and comfortable beds, and the staff were friendly. I had a pleasant stay at the La Quinta hotel in Kingsport and would recommend it.

The carpets and the inside of the drapes were stained, the bathroom had mold, and the fixtures were cracked. Absolutely disgusting, by far the worst La Quinta I’ve stayed at.

The only plus was being close to 81 highway. My room was dirty and dusty, with cobwebs and a moldy smell. I definitely wouldn’t shower there. It barely got warm, and the curtain didn’t block the parking lot light. Front desk service was rude. I’d asked for a feather free room because of my allergies and confirmed twice by phone, but they didn’t accommodate me. At check-in, when I asked if the room was feather free, he said I’d have to check once I got there because he didn’t know anything about it. I wouldn’t stay here again.
