We needed a room because the rain was so heavy that travelling felt dangerous. Honestly, we’d have been better off sleeping in the car at the local gas station. There were stains everywhere, strange smells, no toilet paper, and the smoke detector was hanging off the wall. We killed at least four bugs after getting into the room. They refused my refund request, so I’ll dispute the room charge with my card company.

Looking for a quiet break with a gorgeous view and really good hospitality? This motel is worth considering. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well cared for, which made the stay pleasant.

They let us check in and pay without mentioning that there was no running water. When I asked the man at the desk, he said it would be ready in two minutes, but more than an hour had passed. They’d also put us in a smoking room, and the bed had moth holes. Very disappointing and deceptive. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work either.

The Wi-Fi barely works across most of the rooms. I was practically living here, moved rooms, and thankfully I’m leaving tomorrow to live somewhere else. Don’t stay unless this is your last resort. I never got offered breakfast, despite seeing reviews that mention it. When things broke or went wrong, staff acted like it was our fault. We had a toilet problem, and they tried to make us fix it instead of calling a plumber themselves. Then they had someone without a plumber’s license try to fix it, and they really had no business doing that. The problem never got resolved, so we had to change rooms. This place doesn’t deserve business. They don’t seem to understand how business works in America. One worker also couldn’t speak our language well enough to have a conversation or explain anything.
