La Quinta by Wyndham Kingsville

The outside looks nice, but inside this La Quinta was horrendous. The shower was filthy, the carpet was dirty, and there were roaches. Breakfast wasn’t very good either. I booked through Expedia, was told the reservation had been canceled, and then was refused a refund. Because of my circumstances, I stayed anyway, and regret it. Terrible service. There are plenty of other places to stay, so don’t choose this one.

After finding roaches in room 206, we were moved to the fourth floor. There weren’t roaches there, but the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The toilet paper roll was used up, so we had to ask for more. The TV didn’t work, there was hair on the bed, and trash sat on the middle shelf. When I asked if the room had been cleaned, the staff member said yes. He only went in and picked up the trash after I asked, then asked if that was good enough. He even got frustrated when I said it wasn’t. I won’t stay here again.

We definitely won’t be coming back. The room was dirty, the towels were dingy, and the place had roaches. This used to be a really nice hotel, but it’s nowhere near La Quinta standards now.

Our friend found fingernails in the bed and dog hair all over the room. It smelled bad, and staff told her the previous guest had let a dog poop in there. When my wife and our friend tried to check out and get a refund, the man who said he was the manager argued with them, yelled, swore, and flipped them off. Gross and dirty.
