Comfort Suites St. Louis - Sunset Hills

For larger families, especially more than four people, it's hard to find a reasonably priced place with enough room. This hotel has rooms that fit us easily, and the sofa bed is fantastic. It feels like a home away from home: rooms are consistently clean and tidy, and everything we need is there. Staff text during the stay and leave a note, too. They’re friendly and helpful, and the customer service is the best I've found. There are snacks in the late afternoon, and soda and flavored water available through the day. Breakfast has lots of choices, from fresh fruit, yogurt, and boiled eggs to kid favorites like flavored waffles, plus the usual bagels, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The coffee is delicious, with hot tea and fruit juice as well.

The desk chair in our room could roll out from under you and tip over, as my sister found out, so watch out for that. Still, we had a great weekend stay at Comfort Suites Sunset Hills while in St.Louis for an event. The team checked on us by text each day to make sure we were comfortable, and everyone was especially kind. Breakfast was good, with fresh watermelon, and the evening snacks were great too. Thanks, Maggie (hope I got your name right), for being so kind when you made the reservation and when we met in person. If we're in St. Louis again, this will be our go-to hotel.

The Irish pub next door was a favorite, and the hotel was affordable. The staff welcomed us warmly, with free snacks and inexpensive options available at check-in. Everything was clean, with lots of extra amenities in and outside the room. Breakfast was great, especially the fresh-cut fruit. They're simple things, but the team takes the time to get them right. We usually stay in a different part of STL, but this place impressed us enough that we're planning a return. The employees are superb, hardworking, and clearly want guests to be happy. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, even though it was firmer than we usually prefer. Breakfast was good, and the room is laid out so people can move through easily. They keep the food area clean and stocked.
