Tropical Palms Resort & Campground

We weren't disappointed on our second visit to Tropical Palms. The first time we stayed in one of the park models, this time at a campsite. It felt secluded even though everything was close by, and the campground was clean and well maintained. Getting to the Disney parks was an easy, short drive. There were fun little evening activities, and everyone we met seemed pleasant and happy with their stay. We'd definitely return.

We come through every year on our way to and from Florida, and Tropical Palms is a welcoming family resort close to the Disney parks and lots of restaurants. Maykala at check-in was especially attentive and did her best to make things stress-free. We really appreciated her help. It's a resort, so you can sit back and relax. The staff are very friendly, the park is clean and quiet, and the cabins are well kept. Campsites are clean too, with space to move around. It costs a little more for that level of comfort.

I've been on hold for over 20 minutes waiting for someone who knows the actual rates. I was trying to make a monthly reservation, and the Thousand Trail representative quoted me $5,000 for one month in the off season. I said that couldn't be right, since the prices there are normally around $90-$120 a night. The staff need better training.
