Courtyard by Marriott Knoxville Downtown

The room looked nice and clearly new, which fits with the location being advertised as new. We were there over Christmas, and the staff were still friendly and accommodating even on a major holiday. They'd decorated the lobby and other shared spaces, which was a nice touch. Parking was on site and convenient, something I don't often find with self parking. I'd gladly stay again if I'm back in the area. There also seemed to be a large extended family gathering at the hotel. It didn't bother us or affect our stay, but if someone wants that kind of holiday gathering amenity, it may be useful to know. I thought it was a great idea.

We come to Knoxville once or twice a year, and this was our first stay at this Courtyard. We were impressed. The location made it easy to walk to lots of bars and restaurants, and the check-in staff were very friendly. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and linens and nice decor. We'd happily stay again and highly recommend it.

Chris was the best during our visit. I surprised my husband with a reunion with his Marine buddy from combat, and Chris kindly and patiently took pictures of us. We had such a great time, and spent most of it at the hotel bar, where we also had drinks and food. The room was cozy and clean. There's a short, easy walk to plenty of nearby restaurants and pubs, though the attached parking garage was especially convenient. We'll definitely return on a future trip to the area.

The staff here are great. A special thanks to my room attendant, Autumn, for doing such a good job and being so kind. You made my stay nicer. I had a lovely time, and the room was beautiful and spacious.
