The only downside was a smell in the bathroom that lingered no matter how many times it was cleaned. Danielle at the front desk deserves a rave review, though. She handles the desk, rooms and sweets, cleans the breakfast area and wipes tables, and goes above and beyond coordinating reservations and redeeming Marriot Bonvoy points. I also had something shipped to the hotel and she took care of it. She was training someone fairly new, too. The other women at the front desk were very good as well. This hotel should be rated at least a four.

We stayed in the King Suite, and it was great: a large room with two separate areas and a bathroom. The water pressure was perfect, and the water stayed hot. Everyone on staff was friendly, polite, and helpful. The front desk attendant gladly directed us to the closest Starbucks and advised us on when to go based on traffic. 10/10, would recommend.

Our room was missing the bolts that secure the toilet, and it kept running. We also saw a guest who had been given the wrong room walk in on someone. Several staff members didn’t speak English, and we saw a few taking out trash and handling other things before preparing the continental breakfast without washing their hands.

The bathroom was ridiculous. Water was leaking and spraying everywhere, ashes covered the counter, and the toilet seat wasn’t bolted down. I tried to fix it and found the toilet was disgusting and obviously unclean. Buc-ees’ bathrooms are cleaner. The shower fixtures were cracked and coming off the wall. For the price, this place is embarrassing. Stay away. The neighborhood didn’t feel safe, and it seemed they didn’t care about basic upkeep. I wish I’d read the reviews first. I would have paid more to stay somewhere else, or booked an Airbnb. The property outside was unattended, parking was hard to find, and the neighborhood seemed sketchy. Service inside was horrible and unfriendly. I was told the elevator was out of service, but later saw someone using it, so I had to take the stairs to my second-floor room. On the way up, five or six room doors were propped open with nobody around, so anyone could get inside. It was creepy. The carpet was old and falling apart.
