The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout, and there were complimentary cookies and bottled water available around the clock. Our room was clean and spacious. We saved a lot by staying here instead of downtown, though it's only 10-12 minutes from downtown and Market Square. I'd recommend it.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but I won't stay here again. The bathroom had mold on the shower door, stained towels, a small shower, and barely any water pressure. Thin sheets and a loud heater fan that ran all night didn't help. The smell in the hallway and room was disgusting, and the place felt like a dorm room. It felt dirty, and you get what you pay for. Come on, Hilton, you can do better. I'll go back to Marriott Bonvoy brands.

Food places aren't within walking distance, though you can walk to a grocery store. The hotel itself is very nice, with a modern downstairs area and an indoor pool that was slightly heated. It was warm enough for our little ones to play for over an hour in the December cold. There's also a small pet waste area. Staff were helpful when we initially had no hot water. They looked into it quickly and reset a breaker, and we had hot water 20 minutes later. A unique find and a very well-maintained hotel.

The bed wasn't very comfortable, though the plush pillows meant we slept okay. I chose this place because reviews kept calling it clean, but the shower was gross. The pink and brown plastic strip on the shower door and the matching discoloration in the corner made the whole bathroom feel dirty. Even my husband, who usually isn't bothered by this stuff, found it unsightly. Sue was amazing and kind. She tried to move us, but the other room's bathroom wasn't up to par either. In the morning, the attendant kindly gave me Advanced Stay's customer service number so I could cancel the second night. Customer service was kind, acknowledged the issue, cancelled the reservation, and issued a refund. We likely would have stayed if the bathroom had been clean, but the second night was going to cost $250 and wasn't worth the discomfort. We went to Embassy Suites in West Knoxville instead, which was more up to par for the price.
