Comfort Inn Near Kokomo Speedway

Trianna, your AGM, made us comfortable from the moment we arrived. I was traveling from Michigan to help my mom move from Kokomo back home, and a minor car issue meant we needed a room. Trianna listened to our requests and was incredibly helpful, with the best customer service I've seen in a while. She's a real people person, and I wished I could've tipped her just for being herself. The room was nice, the hotel clean, and the bed cozy. The pillows felt like marshmallows, and the carpet looked clean from what I could see. The bathroom was a little small, and the toilet was so low that my mom, who has leg and knee pain, struggled to bend down to use it. The tub was slippery, and I worried about her showering, though thankfully she didn't fall. Bath mats might help prevent an accident. The pool area had such a strong chlorine smell that I could still smell it hours later. Breakfast was decent, but the food was cold and the coffee didn't taste good. The woman at the front desk when we came down for breakfast, whose shift ended at 7 AM, had a snappy, nasty attitude. She didn't smile or say good morning, and when I asked questions she'd look at me and respond as though I was bothering her. She clearly didn't want to be there.

I've stayed here pretty often for work, so I know what to expect: clean, fresh rooms, a comfortable stay, and convenient location at a really good price. The customer service is fantastic. I've paid twice as much for half the comfort at other places around the country.

It was around midnight on October 31, cold and raining, and I was stranded in Kokomo, where I'm not from. I'd been busy and waited too long to book, so the only room left for me was a double queen, which was fine for the extra space. The kind man with locs at the desk explained everything clearly and kept smiling. He was sweet and helped me get a room even though I arrived in the middle of the night. He deserves a raise or a higher position. I was in room 224 upstairs, as requested. The stay was peaceful and quiet, which I loved. There was free Wi-Fi, a furnished room, free breakfast, and plenty of coffee and towels. The pool was closed. I was surprised to find an up-to-date TV, unlike hotels in my old city. There was plenty of hot water and soap too, more than the single bar many hotels provide. My only downsides were the hard bed and very loud bathroom fan, though there was another light I could use. A gas station and plenty of restaurants are nearby, with a Walmart not too far away.

Trianna was so kind and helped me through a hard time after my dad passed away. She kept the front lobby spotless and made me feel welcome whenever I came in. She also checked on my mom to make sure she was okay. Trianna is the best.
