The breakfast was clean and had plenty of good options, and the lobby looked nice. Check-in was pleasant too, with a friendly new employee who thanked me for my patience while she learned the job. My double room looked clean at first and wasn’t bad overall, though some spots needed more attention and there was a hair in the tub. The beds were a little uncomfortable for me, though I’ve slept on worse. The main issue was the toilet: it clogged and overflowed even though nobody had used it for number two. We told the front desk, and the woman said, “that room, again,” so she knew which one it was. She said maintenance would come when they arrived, but we waited two hours and then had to leave for our event. One night cost $177, which felt a bit pricey given the bed and toilet problems, even though the stay was mostly good.

After a long day on the road, the front desk attendant Kody made check-in easy and was kind about all our questions and issues. She was fantastic and helpful throughout the stay. The room was spacious and clean, and the service alone made our night.

The late checkout option sold online wasn’t honored. Staff pounded on our door at 10am, an hour before checkout, and wanted us out. When we challenged that, they said they couldn’t do anything and told me to call headquarters. Headquarters then said the hotel was responsible. If you like being lied to, stay here!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and housekeeping left sweet notes in the room after each cleaning. The front desk also had a goody bag for each check-in. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean, and breakfast was good. Our bed was comfy, with plenty of pillows and warm blankets. The room had a Keurig, microwave, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, and a big flat-screen TV. It did have a stale smell, and the crevices were dirty, with walls that needed washing. Even so, I’d stay again and recommend it to friends.

The room was comfortable and the stay went well, with a good breakfast and helpful staff. A new front desk employee was training when I arrived in the evening. I don’t know her name, but she did a fine job checking me in.
