The room was the best part, roomy, peaceful, and one of the nicest we've had at any chain. It had space for our night owl to sit, the bed was comfortable, and even the air conditioner, patched with masking tape, worked pretty well without much noise. The room was clean, though the stairs and hallway could use more attention. The indoor-outdoor pool and hot tub looked inviting. We chose the hotel partly because the online listing mentioned an on-site restaurant. There was a space that could be a restaurant, but nothing was being served. Breakfast was Cheerios or Froot Loops, bananas, and mini donuts that were a little stale. Despite that, we'd probably come back. I just wish I could rate it higher.

We woke up in room 105 at 4 a.m. covered in hundreds of bites on our torso and thighs. Staff said the hotel had no bed bugs and called them mosquito bites, then offered a free night, which was no use to us since we were only passing through. The corporate office was no help either. After a confusing phone menu, someone hung up on me. When we arrived, the staff were friendly, and the indoor-outdoor pool was great. Breakfast was just two cereals, orange juice, and toast. A horror story of a stay. We wouldn't return.

The room they gave us was old and dirty, nothing like what we expected from the website photos, which may show newer rooms. It was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled strongly of smoke. The place's name doesn't fit, and the people who checked us in were rude and unhelpful.
