We’ve stayed here three times in the past two months. It’s comfortable, clean, and worth the price, though it’s not a luxury five-star hotel. The rooms are nice, the staff are very friendly, and whoever tends the flowers does a lovely job. The continental breakfast is much better than what many chains offer.

This is an older motel, so anyone who’s hoity-toity probably won’t care for it. But for an average Joe, it’s a good spot: great price, great service, a clean room, and a decent cold breakfast. Being next to the jail and Sheriff office was a bonus, and I didn’t see any sketchy characters all night. The mattress was comfortable, the linens fresh and clean, and the hot water was really hot. The TV didn’t work during my stay, but I can forgive that since I don’t watch much anyway. I got a good night’s sleep.

The location worked well for us, since we could walk to lots of good spots, and the price was reasonable. We had a great stay overall, with very clean rooms and good service. The walls are thin, so you can hear the neighbors, and it’s right next to the new jail. Most people were respectful and quiet at night.

A great place, super-duper clean. I just wish the owner still cooked Korean food, I would’ve ordered every night. It’s in the best location in La Junta, and Copper Kettle is an easy walk for a breakfast that’ll keep you full most of the day. Definitely a keeper restaurant.

Lou and the staff are outstanding, and the breakfast and rooms are excellent. It felt like home away from home. By far the best motel stay I’ve ever had.
