Hampton Inn & Suites Moline-Quad City International Airport

We stayed here twice in a short period and had the same good experience both times. The hotel welcomes dogs, the room was spacious and very clean, and breakfast had a good range of options.

We’ll definitely stay again when we’re in the area. The two queen beds were super comfortable, and I loved having two chairs and a table so we could sit together without using the bed. It made the room feel more like home. I wish I’d taken a photo, but the website pictures are accurate. The bathroom was a good size with a walk-in shower. The pressure could’ve been a little stronger, but it was fine. Check-in was smooth, and our room was ready early. I got a message letting me know. Breakfast was alright, with the usual eggs, bacon, summer sausage, fruit, yogurt, waffles you make yourself, bagels, and muffins. Some items change each day.

I’ve been a loyal Hilton member for years, and I ran into a problem with a guest’s digital key. I called the hotel to ask if they could verify it and push it through, but they couldn’t. I booked another room right before that and its key worked immediately. After half an hour trying, I gave up and called customer service, but they basically called me an idiot and told me to turn my iPhone off and on. That didn’t work. I had to rebook another room, and that key worked right away. It’s crazy, and the front desk could have prevented all this by pushing it through. I’ve booked multiple hotels under my name and a guest’s before without any trouble.

We ended up checking out because the loud banging continued even after the front desk moved us to the room next door. It seemed to happen whenever another room ran water, including when someone showered. Other rooms flushing also made a loud bubbling sound in our shower, along with a sewage smell. The noise woke us early in the morning. We told the front desk, and they moved us promptly, but the problem was just as bad next door. I hope they fix it for future guests.
