Lake of the Torches Resort Casino

We were up that way snowmobiling, so I decided to try my luck. As soon as we walked in, a very helpful woman showed us where I could leave my snowmobile gear. It felt safe there, and I got some free play as a first-time reward. I left having won, though I knew I might lose what I came to gamble. That’s gambling, I guess.

The pool is always clean, there are plenty of towels, and lots to do. The rooms are tidy, and room service has been exceptional each time I’ve stayed. I’ve been here many times, and they keep meeting my expectations. I recommend the resort whenever I can. The one thing it still needs is a functional spa.

Woody's bar is a nice, relaxing spot to have a cold one, and we’ve never been disappointed by the restaurant or dining experience. The gaming is great, with lots of new slots, and sometimes we come away a few dollars ahead. We only make it to Lake of the Torches once or twice a year, but we always look forward to heading up north. It’s been a while since we stayed at the hotel. When we did, it was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with plenty of amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and we feel very safe here. Make a point of visiting "The Lake" if you’re in the area!

There’s a buffet, plus a short-order restaurant if that’s more your thing. The pool area is beautiful, too. We always look forward to visiting. It’s a very clean, quiet hotel, and everyone is friendly. The whole property is kept very clean.
