Weatherly Suites

The beach was only a few steps away, and the place was quiet enough for a really relaxing stay. We got a morning paper each day, and the unit was clean, comfortable, and had a nice fireplace and all the amenities. They also gave us complimentary coupons for the pool and spa at a nearby hotel, plus a restaurant discount. We had to reschedule from the week before because my husband had a cold, and they were kind about it and didn't charge us a fee. We didn't get to try the jacuzzi, but hope to next time. Thanks, Weatherly Inn Staff, we'll be back!

The front desk staff were especially kind and helpful, and brought us extra towels, coffee, and toiletries whenever we asked. The inn is walkable to the beach, and we could hear the waves, though the shrubbery blocked the ocean view. The big glass door and windows looked out toward the ocean, but we couldn't leave the sliders open because there was no screen and gulls or young deer might wander in. Our king suite was quaint, clean, and cozy, with a huge jet tub, a fireplace, and a sofa bed. The newly remodeled floors felt updated, but were cold in the morning, so a couple of throw rugs would have helped. The sofa bed was broken and tipped back while we were settling in to watch a show. There is a beach gift shop next door and a pizza place across the street that's worth trying.

We come every year for Bikers on the Beach, and being able to park our Harleys on the back patio is great. The wildlife around the complex is really friendly, and there's a nice fire pit on the side. Our unit has a separate bedroom with a king bed, a living room couch, a stocked kitchen with cookware, dishes and silverware, a mini fridge, and a jacuzzi hot tub. Love this place.

Our first room was freezing because the heater didn't work, but the hotel moved us to a better room without charging extra once we brought it up. The rest of the stay was great, with a jacuzzi in the room and a full kitchen. I'd definitely recommend it.
