The rooms were horribly dirty, with stains on the mattresses, wires hanging out of the walls, bugs in the toilet, and trash left on the floor. It hadn’t been vacuumed. Someone at the city said she checked the room and it was clean, but it was awful. I’d have been better off sleeping in my vehicle. I wish I could give the place minus five. This is no longer a motel, it’s used by the city to house homeless people. It had recently been closed for bed bugs, then reopened three weeks to a month later after they said they had taken care of them. The city let it open again. I don’t think the city is any better than the owners or the people running it. I refused to go back, which means I’m homeless again, but I’d rather be than stay there. I’m disabled and they gave me a room I couldn’t get into. The mice are awful, too. One night I woke up and a mouse was sitting on the leg of my recliner, staring at me. Don’t go here if you value your health.

We stopped here for one night on a drive from New Jersey. The room was warm and comfortable, with a hen-themed interior we really liked. The beds were clean, heating was adequate, and there was hot water. The bathroom amenities were good quality, and we appreciated having a Gideon Bible in the room. The staff were hospitable and kind, and suggested possible tourist spots around Laconia and the Lake Winni area. It was a great experience for the price. I’d strongly recommend this place.

The owner is very nice, and the staff are extremely helpful. We found the place comfy and homey, and we’ll definitely stay again. The website says there’s a full kitchen in every room, which wasn’t true for ours, but that didn’t matter since we could cook and there’s a bbq out back. Our room had a microwave and a mini fridge that worked really well.

The location makes it easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, ice cream, shops, and other scenic spots. The rooms are scrupulously clean, and the staff are eager to help when needed. The owners are attentive and friendly, and genuinely care about guests’ comfort. It’s a warm, home-style place to stay, and we had a friendly, comfortable, memorable experience.

We were very satisfied with our stay the last weekend in July 2020. The room was cute, cozy, comfortable, and clean, and the price was really good compared with other places in town. It’s close to Weir's Beach and the attractions, and there’s a pool at the motel. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it to others. You can’t beat the price.
