The waffle maker was the breakfast highlight, though I had to wait since there was only one. At 8 a.m. they were already short on hot food, with microwaved bacon and an egg-and-sausage item. There were bagels, coffee, and other options, so it wasn't a total bust. The bed was comfortable, and I had no issue with it. The room itself felt dated: the TV seemed too small from the bed and lacked features you'd expect in 2025. The coffee maker still had old, moldy coffee in it, and the tub and door trim looked like they'd just been painted over to appear clean. Pretty tacky. It's a two-star place, so I didn't expect much, but it still felt overpriced. I was there in mid-October, when nothing was going on.

We've used this hotel and two others in the area before, and there aren't many choices nearby. We stayed here twice over the past month, for several nights each time, because it was the only place with a pool and a working hot tub. AmericInn suits our needs, and we generally enjoy staying there, so I rated it fairly well, though these visits weren't as good as earlier ones. Both times there were keycard problems. On one visit the card failed off and on; on the other it had to be reprogrammed twice. Staff handled it differently: one person was friendly and said they'd been having trouble, while the next time we were blamed for keeping the cards by our phones, which we hadn't done.

The pool looked clean, and breakfast looked appealing, though we went to meet friends at a nearby family restaurant instead. We found the place clean and tidy, with plenty of parking and a comfortable bed. It's a two-story building without an elevator. There were enough outlets for our devices, the location was convenient, and the price was reasonable. We'd stay again.

The place was quiet and very convenient, and the parking lot was well lit. It costs a little more than I'd like, but it was clean, and the woman at check-in was really nice. There were also two chargers for electric cars, if that's useful to you.

Our first room was filthy, with dog hair on the bed and clumps of hair and garbage on the floor. The second room was better, though nothing special. Four guest rooms had no hot water at night.
