Stayapt Suites Lagrange Kia

I came over from the UK for business and originally booked two nights, but ended up staying five. The rooms were clean, and the place was easy to find just off 85. David the Manager was genuinely a nice chap and couldn't do enough to help. I'd book again.

The room is new, spacious, and clean, with two king beds, nice bedding, a sleeper sofa, a good bathroom, and a hair dryer. There are plenty of outlets and USB ports by the bed, plus starter dishwasher soap and coffee supplies. The hot water can take up to 15 minutes to get warm enough for a shower at odd times of day. There's no elevator, which is a problem for elderly or handicapped guests and anyone with heavy luggage. There's no front desk after 7 pm, and even before then you may need to call someone to come check you in. There's no ice machine either, but there are freezer trays if you aren't in a rush.

The only downside was the construction workers, who could be pretty loud when they left early in the morning. They also tracked in lots of red dirt, which I saw the staff dealing with every day. I even overheard the GM asking them late at night to keep it down for other guests. The staff clearly put a lot of effort and care into the hotel. Someone always seemed to be around to keep the property safe and help with anything I needed. My room was extremely clean, and the hotel is close to restaurants and 85. I also got an unexpected upscale welcome amenity. The General Manager checked me in and was very helpful and kind. The Assistant General Manager did a great job servicing my room, and David at the front desk is a fun guy who made me feel at home. I have work starting in the Lagrange area soon, and plan to make this my home and bring my wife.

I've been coming here for years, and brought a friend on our first trip together. We're in our 60s and 70s, and the service from David and Carl at the LaGrange Georgia location was so good. They listen, and David even helped load the car. I called to get their names again, and Carl asked if we'd made it okay. David asked yesterday how our trip to Callaway Gardens went, and he took my advice and made notes. If I could give 10 stars for the service, I would. They don't have carts like regular hotels, and they don't sit behind the desk like a regular hotel, but the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the price is reasonable, and they're more than willing to help. I've stayed there since it was built. They had terrible Carpenters and had to hire another company, but David listened when I said the plugs were still loose. The gas stoves haven't been working for years, and it would be nice to sit outside by the fireplace and Grill. I also told them the door's bolt lock didn't work. Guests should be told the blinds have a button, because I couldn't figure out how to close them. We laughed about it.
