The garden, with its beach view, is still on my mind on my last day in Hawaii. This felt like a true Aloha oasis. I had privacy and also enjoyed time with the wonderful owners. They let me play their piano, and we spent a lovely evening over cheese and wine. The outdoor BBQ facilities were great, the rooms were nicely designed, and beach supplies like towels and boards were free to use. The two cute cats made the evenings in the garden even better. I really loved staying here.

Set in a traditional home in a residential neighborhood, this quaint bed and breakfast just north of Lahaina felt like coming home each night. There are only 8 rooms, I believe, so it has a sweet, familial feel. Some rooms have beautiful water and sunset views. It was easy to find, with plenty of parking, and check in and check out were simple. Rooms are cleaned daily.

There’s a roomy, covered shared dining spot with a big gas grill, microwave, and toaster. I also liked the hammock and all the well-kept plants. The place is clean and spacious, and feels like a friendly little oasis. Bodyboards, snorkeling gear, and beach towels are free to use.

Jamie made our late 9 pm arrival easy, even though we’d booked this lovely little hideaway on a whim. We spent three days here for a staycation and chose the deluxe suite with the in-room jacuzzi tub, which turned out to be a great choice. The balcony had gorgeous sunset views, the bedding was top quality, and Jamie’s furnishings showed real taste. The place was meticulously cared for and felt like home.

The host was cool, and the views were awesome. Our room felt spacious and pretty luxurious, plus the bathtub had a jacuzzi function ;)
