The Plantation Inn - Free Breakfast

Nora was excellent, and we appreciated her suggestions. The staff were friendly, and the cleanliness really stood out to us, especially since we both work in hospitality and notice things many travelers might miss. It’s an older property, but clearly well looked after. The peaceful pool was a nice place to spend time, and being an adults-only property made the stay feel especially relaxing. Breakfast was good, though the choices were limited, and it was convenient not to have to go elsewhere for it. Front Street is an easy walk, and we could also reach the beach at their other property without much trouble. We’d happily stay again.

We had a mini honeymoon at the Plantation Inn and it was just what we wanted for a weekend away. Being close to Front Street while staying somewhere quiet and adults-only was a great fit. The inn is small and peaceful, but still gives you easy access to everything we wanted in Lahaina. The pool and hot tub were open around the clock, and the pool stayed clean and uncrowded. Our room was clean and roomy, with a balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast was included and delicious, with a gourmet feel, and the staff were attentive and ready to help. Parking was a little tight, but no big deal. We’d choose this place again over a big, crowded resort.

We paid less than half of what the large resorts were asking, and this inn had twice the charm. Free parking was another big plus, since that can be hard to find in Lahaina. We spent a week here in February and would absolutely come back. The location was ideal, close enough to walk to shops and restaurants but just far enough off Front Street to stay quiet. The pool area was always clean and inviting, and our room matched the website description: clean and well kept. We had coffee and tea, a mini fridge, and a balcony we enjoyed sitting on in the morning and evening. Everyone on staff was helpful and really friendly.

We live on Oahu and have stayed at quite a few hotels and resorts around the Hawaiian Islands, but this inn is our favorite so far. The team gave us the warmest service we’ve had anywhere on the island, and they were welcoming and professional throughout. Our room was charming, quiet, and clean, with a big lanai looking over the calm courtyard pool. The bed was so comfortable that we slept well all seven nights. Breakfast is included, there’s no resort fee or extra parking charge, and Gerard's, the French restaurant in the inn, is incredible. Definitely eat there. We loved our stay and plan to return to Maui.
