We were very comfortable in room #314 and had the best experience. The rooms were the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in, and the shops and grocery store are very convenient. I wish guests could choose for themselves whether to access the board games and accept the risk, instead of that option being removed because of COVID. The DVD player remote had no batteries, but we managed to press the button on the player itself. We only watched DVDs one night, so we didn’t need to ask the office for batteries.

Our split-level had three bedrooms, a decent-sized kitchen, and a large dining table, which worked perfectly for an extended family vacation. There were lots of fans to keep things cool on warm days. It’s a nice mountain setting near the lake and village, with lots of good hiking trails nearby. I just wish there were a sidewalk to get there.

The scenery is hard to beat, and we had a nice stay in the chalets, though they were a little dated. Check-in and check-out were the main trouble spots. When I asked to do the check-in paperwork before the 4 o’clock check-in time, I felt there was a bit of attitude. I just wanted to get it out of the way early, but it was a minor hiccup and everything got done. Checkout was more confusing. The paperwork said to leave by 10 am, leave everything on the dining room table, and call the main office. I was leaving a little early, before the office opened at 10, so my call went to an answering service. They wouldn’t take a message or help in any way. The manager later told me I didn’t need to call at checkout. I just wish the paperwork had reflected that policy change.

We’ve loved our experience and will definitely return. The location is convenient, close to the Village and easy to get to. Our room was private, clean, and really nice, and they supplied everything we could possibly need.

A lovely place with a beautiful view. My only complaint was the Wi-Fi, which was nonexistent on Friday from 6 to 10 pm. There just isn’t enough capacity for all the guests streaming movies.
