This felt like one of those formative relationships you remember fondly, even though you know it wasn't going to be the one. It helped me get to know Lake Arrowhead, and I have no hard feelings about it. It wasn't the quietest or fanciest stay, and it didn't have every amenity, but it had charm and a great clubhouse. The WiFi worked well, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water stayed hot in winter. Everything worked, and for the price it felt like a safe value. The location is ridiculously convenient. You're between the small-town antique shops and the village, across from a gas station, and it's easy to find even if mountain roads aren't your thing. Kingsley's booking and check-in fit the modern preference for avoiding face-to-face contact. You send photos of your ID online, then use a door code to get into your room, so you don't have to talk to staff if you aren't ready for that first-date hand-holding. When I wanted more help, though, the team was responsive. They answered my questions and quickly got someone on the phone who knew my reservation when I needed help figuring out parking before check-in. The reasonably priced chilled Champaign waiting on arrival helped settle the first-date nerves. It's an affordable, easy first date with Lake Arrowhead.

We had a relaxing stay at Kingsley in Lake Arrowhead. The room was clean and modern, and the guest clubhouse was cute, nicely decorated, and genuinely useful. We made tea and coffee, used the microwave and ice maker, and had plenty of cute glassware and silverware ready to go. It was nice to sit on the couch and watch TV, too. The location is great, with fun shops next door and the village a short walk away.

We come up regularly for our business in the village, and The Kingsley Hotel is our first choice every time. I've stayed there four or five times now, and Vanessa is always responsive, helpful, and quick to assist. I haven't actually had an issue, but I can tell she'd deal with one right away. The rooms are cozy, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the outdoor patio is a nice place to unwind. You can walk to almost everything. We highly recommend it and will keep coming back.

A charming little hotel, close enough to walk to Arrowhead village. The rooms were bright and clean, with fresh linens, and the WiFi was fast and dependable. Check-in and checkout are contactless, so you can head straight to your room. We had a question and got a reply in under ten minutes. Recommended.

The room was tiny but thoughtfully laid out, and I loved having a roomy closet for my luggage. Little touches made it feel luxurious, like the robe and slippers and the gold details on the faucets and shower head. Check-in and checkout were smooth, and the instructions made it easy to find my room. So adorable!
