Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

The Skyliner was down for part of our visit, but the resort had well-organized, easy-to-use buses in its place. We also had fun with the Find Sebastian activity, a nice extra touch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. The grounds were well maintained, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the tropical theme made the place feel like a relaxing getaway with Disney magic. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Disney.

Our stay was good and I'd come back, but I wouldn't choose a first-floor room. Bugs of several kinds kept getting inside; I killed about 4-5 a day. The front desk said the property is sprayed regularly, though bugs still get into rooms. Beds were comfortable, the pool was very nice, and staff were friendly for the most part. Skyliner access was convenient too.

The food at Caribbean Beach was pretty much cafeteria fare. Nothing we tried was especially good, though it wasn't terrible; we went next door to the Riviera to eat instead. Our room fit two adults and two kids, had a nice size and a nice bathroom. The refrigerator didn't seem to cool properly: after nearly four days, a bottle of water was barely cool to the touch. I asked someone to check it, but nobody came. We didn't really need the fridge, so it wasn't a major issue for us. The grounds were beautiful, the pool area was lovely, and staff were consistently friendly and knowledgeable about both Disney and the hotel. The Skyliner was easy to use, and the morning walk there took about five minutes depending on where you were staying. Walking across the lovely grounds was a treat. I'd recommend the room to a family trying to save some money while staying on Disney property.

We often choose Caribbean Beach for our Disney trips when we aren't splurging on Riviera. The Skyliner makes getting to Epcot and Hollywood Studios so convenient: hop on and off, and skip the transportation hassle for those parks. Many of the nice rooms look out over the resort's central lake, where you might spot egrets or herons wading for food. The town center has food, Disney apparel, hygiene basics, and a large pool with a poolside bar.
