Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista - Disney Springs® Area

The location made getting to Disney Springs easy: it's a short walk over a footbridge with an elevator, and the hotel also gives out a Disney Springs coupon booklet. Staff were consistently kind and quick to help, the room was clean with a lovely view, and the bed height worked well for transferring from my wheelchair without being awkward for standing guests. The café was handy for coffee. The bathroom had several thoughtful details. The grab bars felt secure, the flush was on the reachable side, and the handheld showerhead was positioned well for use from the bench. The shower curtain was heavy enough to stay put, which matters when you're trying to keep a wheelchair dry. But access to the room itself was a real problem. Neither the outside key-card door nor the inside automatic button worked, and the heavy door meant I couldn't get in or out on my own. The raised threshold was also difficult for my electric wheelchair. For a Hilton accessible room, that falls short of the standard. There were other things that could be safer or more usable: the tile outside the bathroom was slippery even in socks, and the shower floor had a slight raised bubble that might trip someone who shuffles or can't lift their feet easily. The bathroom mirror was too low to see my head while standing. Some guests who need a roll-in shower can stand, and traveling companions may not be able to bend. The elevators were a little tight, so scooter users may need to angle in, something to know if you're not a confident driver. I woke up with shoulder, back, and neck pain from the hard bed, flat pillows, and rough sheets. Noise carried from the next room, and there was no TV streaming, which felt outdated in 2026. Smoke from the entrance area bothered my asthma; that area should be moved away from doors and paths. The closet was behind the bathroom door, where clothes catch shower steam, and the large ironing board blocked it. Staff did respond when I asked for extra pillows and a blanket, although those should already have been in the room. I didn't bring the other issues to management during the stay because nothing felt severe in the moment. Still, without a substantial accessible-room renovation shaped by disabled guests, I wouldn't stay again or recommend this hotel to my disabled clients. Hilton usually sets a good accessibility standard. This property has some good instincts, but needs a lot of work to follow through.

Carolina from Guest experience Services and the Market Shop was wonderful, and the blue panda ice cream was yummy. Jean at the front desk and the rest of the staff were lovely too, truly five-star people. The location was great for the older adults in my group, who enjoyed walking to Disney Springs, and the hot tub was amazing. The champagne was a nice touch. On the other hand, the concierge took a very long time to respond. I forgot my toothbrush and wanted room service, but was told I had to go downstairs because I couldn't order by phone. Valet cost too much, so I walked to a nearby hotel and paid half as much. Breakfast at Covington Restaurant wasn't worth the price. Guests get water vouchers, and I wish Hilton would provide complimentary bottles like most of its other properties. The phone and the view in the photo also say a lot about how dated some Hilton services feel, especially for Gold members. I gave this three stars, generously, because it was the holidays. I've stayed at many Hilton hotels, so the contrast stood out. I work in customer experience and digital health, and would welcome a chance to help Hilton as a contractor modernize the guest experience. The room was clean and the amenities were nice, and being close to Disney Springs was a real plus. But noise was a major problem. A band played by the pool until 10:30pm, loud enough to feel like it was on our balcony. Sound from the lobby bar also carried straight up through the central atrium, which was far too noisy. I'm glad we didn't have kids trying to sleep, or I'd have been pretty grumpy. Several outlets and charging ports in the room didn't work either, which was annoying.

Carlos and Miguel were great when we had trouble with the door. They worked on getting it fixed and kept the kids entertained along the way. The whole staff at Hilton Lake Buena Vista seemed to care about our stay, checking in to see if we were satisfied or needed anything. They went well beyond what I expected.
