The resort's setup makes it easy to balance family fun with some quiet. There are two pools, one with a splash pad for families and another reserved for adults. On the 6th floor, there's a nine-hole mini golf course, a climbing wall, and a scavenger hunt for hidden fairy doors. The Spa by JW offers treatments, a sauna, aromatherapy showers, and even 30-minute chair massages for people short on time. There are six dining options. Sear + Sea Woodfire Grill is a highlight for steak and seafood, and is featured in the Michelin guide. Up on the 9th floor, Illume serves Japanese food and creative cocktails with a great view of Disney fireworks. Unreserved Food Bazaar has a European-style marketplace feel and a breakfast buffet. Set within the gates of Bonnet Creek and surrounded by Disney property, the hotel has a complimentary shuttle to all four Disney parks and Disney Springs. It's close to the parks while feeling like a calm break from the usual Orlando theme park bustle, without the character overload of on-site Disney hotels. Rooms are spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows and bathrooms often described as spa-like, with walk-in rain showers and deep soaking tubs. Service from valet to front desk is consistently excellent. A sophisticated, modern, minimalist place that welcomes families while keeping a grown-up atmosphere.

Three years after my first visit, this second stay at the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek in Orlando was even better. The service was outstanding, the rooms spotless, and the food at the restaurants excellent. It definitely wasn't a one-off. On our second night, we returned to find cigarette smoke in the room. We reported it and were moved to the room right next door within five minutes. Security came by right away and dealt with the problem, and I got a follow-up call the next day to check that everything had been resolved. The staff handled it quickly and professionally, with real care. It felt well beyond a three- or four-star stay. In my view, absolutely five stars, and I'd highly recommend it.

Tyler at check-in kept us updated about the room, and we were thrilled when he upgraded us to an Executive Suite. That kind of communication made a big difference after a travel day. It was our fourth visit in the last few years, and we're already looking forward to returning. Earlier, Vincent M., our bellman, kindly held our bags while we had lunch, then brought them up to the room while we were out at Disney Springs. At lunch, despite a busy afternoon, our server stayed attentive even when I stepped away briefly for a work meeting. When a wasp showed up, the team moved us smoothly and without disruption. The server also surprised the kids with fresh watermelon. From the start, the service, professionalism, and care made this a memorable 10 out of 10 check-in experience.

The staff made a real effort to make sure we were enjoying our stay. At the breakfast tenderloin station, the person slicing meat asked how I was. I said I was good and asked him the same. With the biggest smile, he said he was “happy.” That little moment sums up how friendly everyone was. The breakfast setup was amazing and the food top tier. The rooms were large and very clean, the pool area was lovely, and the 6th-floor kids club had activities. There was also shuttle service to and from the Disney parks. I travel half the year, and this is easily one of the top five hotels I've stayed in, and the best one I've visited near the Disney parks.
