The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

Our dogs loved staying here, as usual. The new cabins are really nice, with more space in the main bedroom and a much more comfortable Murphy bed than the old pullout. There’s plenty of kitchen equipment for cooking full meals. Storage for clothes could be tricky if you have more than four people for five days or longer, but the laundry mats are free now. Pack light and do laundry if you need to. Pro tip: rent a golf cart, it makes getting around much easier.

The heated pool wasn’t working, so the water was freezing, which was the only bummer. Otherwise, we loved our cabin stay. It was clean, nice, and spacious, and my kids had a great time riding the golf cart around the property. I’ll absolutely be back!

Fort Wilderness is a place for making memories. You can come in an RV or stay in a cabin, and being surrounded by nature in such a safe, well-organized place makes the trip special. Taking the boat to the parks adds a little magic, too. Life seems to slow down here, and you can get away from the rush and enjoy time with family, nature, and the simple things together. If you want more than a hotel stay, with real connection and memories that last, this is the place.

A warning: after staying here, you might not want to go to another resort 😂 The cabin was so comfortable and amazing, and it’s a relaxing place to stay. We loved taking the golf cart around to see the shops and activities, from pools and ping pong to shuffleboard, volleyball, pickleball, basketball, kayaking, and fishing. There are great dining choices, and Trails End was my favorite. They’ll hold your luggage until check-in or until your flight home, and Disney transportation runs to the other resorts and parks. We’d absolutely recommend it and come back again.
