Renaissance Orlando Resort – Disney Springs® Area

Emily, Lindsey, Camila, and Oscar made my two-day stay feel effortless, from a warm welcome and easy check-in to help with special requests and kind greetings. Every interaction felt thoughtful, and they clearly cared about the guest experience. I wish I could rate the Marriott Renaissance 100 out of 10 for the customer service alone. I hope upper management recognizes what a great asset these four are to the brand. I’ll absolutely return if I’m in Orlando again.

Ashley made our meal at American Kitchen inside the Renaissance Orlando Hotel feel especially welcoming. She was sweet, professional, and attentive throughout, checking that everything was right. Her kindness and warm personality stood out. Great service like that makes a difference. Highly recommend!

The pool was clean and fun, and although the jacuzzi was small, it did the job. The gym photos were misleading, but the gym was usable. We liked the pool bartender’s margarita and nacho suggestions, and breakfast at the restaurant was tasty and filling. Both of us had omelettes. Karren at the bar was the best part of the stay. He was warm and friendly while staying professional, made excellent cocktails, and had good food recommendations. We also saw him handle difficult customers politely. Be sure to stop by for a drink from Karren. Check-in was easy, but as a platinum member I didn’t get an upgrade, though I’d seen reviews about perks other platinum members received. The room was comfortable and generally clean, and the shower came with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We had to keep asking for washcloths and a bath mat because they were taken away each day and never replaced. We’d booked a balcony but got a sliding door that only opened a few inches onto a fake one. Those things weren’t perfect, but they didn’t ruin a great stay.

We came by after a problem with a reservation at another resort, and they had only two rooms left, so things worked out. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the kindness and hospitality. It’s a very nice place. I forgot to photograph the room, but did take a few pictures by the pool.
