Days Inn by Wyndham Lake City I-75

The floors were the biggest problem. They clearly weren’t mopped properly, and my feet and socks turned black after I’d walked around for a short while. There were cockroaches in the room too, so be careful not to bring any home. Breakfast was disappointing, with broken juice machines and very little food. The supplies in the room were skimpy as well: just two tissues, a shampoo bottle, and two small bars of soap, with no other toiletries. The older woman on the night shift was kind and helpful, but the morning worker was rude. When we tried to extend our stay, they quoted twice what we’d paid for the same room, which felt unreasonable and frustrating.

I spent two nights at this resort last Saturday and regretted it the whole time. The room was nasty, the TV didn’t work, and one of the lights stopped working too. We called the front desk to explain what was wrong, but nobody came to fix anything. Not a memorable stay.

I’ve booked cheaper places on this trip, but this has been the best of the low-cost hotels so far. Everything was super clean, and the sheets were shiny and incredibly comfortable. The location was amazing, and the staff were so pleasant and helpful. James is absolutely adorable. Highly recommend!

Keep driving if you can. It was so noisy here, with sirens all night and street racing. I’m not kidding. Breakfast was a bagel, coffee, and a banana, and they nickel and dime you for everything. Asking for a ground-floor room cost extra, and bringing my ESA animal cost extra too. It came to $160 for one night because everywhere else was booked. I should’ve slept in my car. Sorry, Windham, I’m moving on to another hotel chain. Bye!
