Lakeside Motel

The lake was such a peaceful, beautiful spot, and being able to use the kayaks was a lovely extra. After a full day out exploring, the clean pool was just right for unwinding. We love this place, and the hospitality is top notch. I'd highly recommend it. 💖💖💖💖💖

We were in room #18, and the view of the river was phenomenal. It’s also close to mt. Olympus and noahs ark. The rooms were AMAZING, with clean beds, no stains, and fresh blankets. The housekeeping had clearly done a good job before we arrived. The owners were very nice, and there hadn’t been any hidden fees so far, though we hadn’t stayed our first night yet. The place already seemed to be in great shape when we got there. There’s a pool with a slide, a small playground, and free use of row boats and paddle boats that were in great condition. Definitely recommend, 5 stars.

Everything was close by, and we had the best time. They greeted us in a really homey way and brought a nice crib for my 2-year-old daughter. The service was excellent, and the place felt very elegant. I definitely recommend staying here.

The owners made this stay feel personal and welcoming. They’re kind, personable, and clearly care about their guests and the space they’ve created. My fiancé Gunnar is a painter, and he spent time by the water painting the lake view. He gave the finished piece to the owners, and later seeing it hanging proudly in their office was a really meaningful moment for all of us. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The lakeside view is beautiful, and we kept finding ourselves drawn back to it. The property feels peaceful, warm, and family-oriented. We left relaxed and inspired, already excited to come back. If you want a heartfelt, comfortable escape, I’d highly recommend it.
