Natura Aloha Reach Resort

Josh at the front desk has been great, and there are lots of amenities: a playground, indoor and outdoor pools, a heated jacuzzi, sauna, and access to the other Natura properties. We’re in Baraboo, about 13 minutes from Wisconsin Dells, celebrating our anniversary. We’d never been to the Dells before, and this place is really nice. Our room is very clean, especially the bathroom, and has two beds and a balcony. A few more lights, more than one outlet we could find for charging two phones, and a second side table for the beds would make the room a five for us.

We stayed for four days. Service was mostly fine, but the room wasn’t what I’d expect for the price. Housekeeping had prepared it before we checked in, yet the sheets weren’t clean, and there was a FREAKING CIGARETTE on the floor under the bed. There was also a disgusting sticky ring on the floor. The outdoor pools had a bunch of duck poop at the bottom, and the toilets in the rooms were abnormally small. They charge a $200 smoking fee, which is fine and normal, but I can’t say I’d stay here again or recommend it.

The lakefront setting was so relaxing, and the location worked perfectly for us. Our beds were comfortable, and the room was mostly clean. We stayed five days and had no maid service the whole time, so we made our own beds and took our old towels to the front desk to exchange them. The pool closed before dark, so we never got to use it. The place was nice overall, but the walls were thin, the toilet needed plunging a few times, and under the fridge was disgusting and should be vacuumed.

The lake view and quiet setting were lovely, while still being close to plenty of attractions. The staff were friendly, and our room was clean. Everything was great, though I wish the pool room stayed open later.
