We had a great, peaceful stay, and the two teenagers with us loved how homey it felt. It seemed like a really good place for families, with no loud parties going on, thankfully. We stayed in units 15 and 16, joined as a two-room place. The back deck is about 15 feet from the lake, and a posse of cute ducks wanders around looking for food. They seemed fine around even small kids, and we had fun tempting them onto the deck with bread. There’s a little beach with kids’ slides, a play structure, sand volleyball, and free paddle boats. We also had a charcoal grill outside our room. Each night, the gentleman owner makes a bonfire for everyone to enjoy. The owners are really nice. One evening, he let us know he and his wife were going out for an hour and would be just five minutes away if we needed anything. We didn’t, but it was thoughtful of him to tell us. We really love this place, especially the excellent location. It was a great experience.

Booked this amazing place on Airbnb for my birthday, and we had a fantastic time! The rooms were just the right size, with a kitchen, and we could use the grill outside by our room. There was a fire pit, paddle boat, boat, and even a sandy area for the kids. 10 out of 10!

My family and I stayed for three nights and four days on 1/2, and we loved it. Linda and her husband were both so kind and nice. They had deals and discounts for everything, plus maps and brochures showing fun places to go. We’ll definitely keep coming back to stay with them, 100% recommend it.

Linda and Chris were wonderful hosts. From the first booking conversation through checkout, they treated us like family. If you’re after a corporate style resort, this isn’t that. The rooms are modest but well equipped, and have chairs outside for a break from the sun. Our kitchenette made it easy to cook instead of eating out all the time. The resort sits in a little inlet on Lake Delton, with swimming, canoeing, and fishing that feel somewhat secluded and very safe. There are grills, outdoor tables, games, fishing, and swimming, and the kids had a blast meeting and playing with new friends. It’s definitely family friendly. The downtown area and grocery store aren’t far, and the bait shop across the street was super convenient for fishing. It was our first stay, but we’ll be back. The spot is quiet while still close to what the area has to offer. Linda and Chris also have suggestions and coupons for dining and local attractions. Lovely people and a lovely place, we couldn’t have had a better time. And don’t forget to feed the ducks 😊

We’d had a cabin for our family vacations for a few years and figured we’d keep going there, until we found the Sandrift Resort. It’s become our best summer vacation spot, and the owners are fantastic. Linda is such a doll, so sweet and makes you feel right at home. We’ll be back next year, and the year after, and keep spending our summer vacations at the sandrift resort for many years. Thanks so much for the amazing hospitality, we can’t wait to return!
