Thunderbird Resort Condo

I’d like to stay here again, but those mattresses really need attention. They felt like concrete, and on a relaxing vacation I still need a decent night’s sleep. We also had no extra towels or washer and dryer on site, so we used the same towels all week. I don’t do that at home, where I deliberately use white towels so they can be changed and bleached regularly. The owner said the TVs are being replaced and upgraded, and I can bring my own towels if I need to. There was plenty to like outside the room. The location was ideal for getting around The Dells, no more than ten minutes from anything we wanted to do. Sitting on the balcony at sunrise was soothing and memorable. The small “beach” and free paddle boats were a nice extra, and watching different birds and active fish in the lake kept us entertained. The place was clean, and they’d even left toys, a spare leash, and waste bags for dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed for a week. A few other things made the stay harder: the internet kept coming and going, and the bedroom TV couldn’t be used because it had no Fire Stick or cable box. The living room remote had dead batteries, so we downloaded the Fire Stick app, but the unreliable internet made that a poor fix.
