Elsinore Hot Springs & Lodge

The hot tub cleanliness let me down. It didn’t seem to meet the standard you’d expect from a place with this reputation, and the facility could use some upgrades. Still, Elsinore Hot Springs & Lodge was a pleasant weekend getaway. The staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the cozy, well-kept room made a nice place to relax. A solid four star stay, with some things to refine.

It’s a low budget place, but decent, and it has temporary extended stay options. Have a look for yourself. The area feels semi safe, with a couple of 24 hour convenience store gas stations nearby, including a 7-11 and one across the street whose name I forgot. I-15 is close, and so is the Riv. Co. Sheriff substation. 🐘 Pay attention, then you can afford to pay no mind 🖖

I wouldn’t stay here. The conditions didn’t feel livable. There was water damage in the ceiling, leaving a big hole in the corner where flies came in, and the minifridge barely put out any cool air. I hoped my food wouldn’t spoil. Blue tape covered wires coming out of the wall, and then the toilet and tub started acting up. Management said they couldn’t do anything until the next morning, even when I asked to move to another room in the meantime. Someone nearby had cats and kept leaving trash right outside their door, creating an awful smell, even though the garbage container was only a short distance away. I’d report the place to the health department if that didn’t risk people losing their home. Stay away.

I come here for a relaxing night’s sleep and a soak in the hot tub. The rooms are super clean, and the staff are always courteous and really friendly. Amazing place.
