We had a wonderful long weekend in a cottage we rented for 12. The rooms and showers were spacious, with two beds in each room for extra space, and the built-ins and renovations were lovely. The setting is scenic, and the staff were friendly and courteous. One thing to watch for: if your GPS doesn't take you to Hwy 50, it's sending you to the wrong gate. The gates are only seven minutes apart, so it wasn't a big deal. Book here for some rest and relaxation. Thanks for a great weekend!

Sawyer helped us organize the weekend, with great recommendations and all the details handled smoothly. It made the trip easy and stress-free. The golf courses were in great shape, the property was beautiful, and the food, lodging, and atmosphere all exceeded what we expected. We just got back from an incredible weekend at Destination Geneva National and are already planning another visit. Couldn't have asked for a better golf getaway with friends.

The unit was spacious and modern, but dusty, with significant damage to the sliding barn doors, and the mattresses were quite firm. We met other guests who were confused and upset too, so this seems to happen regularly. We left after one night of a two-night booking, but our refund request was denied. Their seven-night notice requirement for a refund is much longer than the standard for hotels. We booked through Amex expecting a genuine four-star hotel, but the setup felt misleading. Check-in was at a golf clubhouse, then we were sent across a parking lot to a small condo building. It isn't really a hotel, more like a VRBO-style rental. There's no daily housekeeping, no night staff on site, and no 24-hour reception, something I'd expect even at a two-star hotel. The pool and spa aren't on site either, they're an eight-minute drive away. The Amex listing, which the hotel controls, has no exterior photos of the building where guests actually stay. It mostly shows the clubhouse and lake, giving a very different impression. The real lodging is awkwardly placed across a large parking lot and has no lake views. The listing feels deliberately misleading. Checkout was by text, so there wasn't much chance to raise concerns in person. The people at check-in were friendly, but the condo building is unmanned, so we had no chance to speak with anyone else. The overall arrangement feels intentionally misleading, and management must know guests feel that way. Unless you're there specifically to golf, I see no reason to stay. For the same price, you could stay on an actual lake, at a real hotel, or in a proper VRBO. This isn't a four-star hotel, it's a short-term rental being sold as something else.

We wish we'd booked more nights. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was fantastic, and there was plenty of space. For a family of five looking to get away, this is exactly what we want: a bit of luxury and an escape. Thank you!

The nicely appointed rooms at The Lodge were missing several things, as if the money had run out before the new decor was finished. Housekeeping was available only by request, and the grounds were so spread out that we needed shuttles to reach different parts of the place. The website's resort description is a stretch and feels misleading. The Italian restaurant was rough. Our food came out cold, though we didn't complain because the one bartender working Friday night was doing her best with little support. There was no background music, which felt odd. Floors and carpets were dirty throughout, and we didn't see a manager all weekend. For $400 a night in Wisconsin, our room looked out onto the parking lot of an old Holiday Inn, and the whole stay was underwhelming. You can do better.
