Econo Lodge St George North - Near Pioneer Park

Check-in was quick, and the rooms were nice, though dated. The pool and hot tub were pleasant, and parking was easy. Breakfast was very limited: Cheerios, Froot Loops, oatmeal, muffins, juice, and coffee. No fruit, yogurt, bread for toast, or boiled eggs. It seemed more set up for kids than adults. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you need a fuller breakfast, and a frozen yogurt place is right across the street.

The floor felt greasy and filthy, so we didn’t feel safe taking our shoes off. Nothing worked: the TV and toilet were broken, and the lights wouldn’t come on. We felt unsafe and checked out right after checking in. We lost money, but safety, cleanliness, and things functioning matter more to us. We should have asked for a refund.

The carpet had a water leak, and our suitcase on the floor got wet along with the clothes inside. The bottom of the nightstand had swollen from water damage, so this didn’t seem like the first time. The heat was already on at 86o when we arrived, and then we understood why. Breakfast was awful, just cereal and muffins, with no toast or fruit. I don’t recommend it.

The Econolodge Saint George North ignores emails, and the Front Desk representative hangs up when you call. The property only responds on Google reviews, while leaving email unanswered. I’m posting photos from my stay and encourage others to complain and stay elsewhere. The manager ignores customers and shows no care for them. It’ll be hilarious when the management wonders why the property is failing. Just ignore the Econolodge Saint George and don’t stay here.
