Heritage of Lake George

The kids liked the firepit and $7 s’mores kit, as well as the outdoor games, and the heated pool was warm with towels provided. It’s an easy walk downtown, though the uphill walk back is a little harder. Prices were fair, and we hope to visit again. Our room was clean and well maintained, with comfortable bedding and amenities. The dated carpet could use replacing, and the outside stairs farthest away didn’t feel stable at all, so I’d ask that they be fixed. The only exception to an otherwise wonderful stay was the fire alarm going off at 6 am and waking everyone up for the day.

The pool was great, and the bonfire at night was awesome. Rooms are a little outdated but very clean. It’s a cool place in a great location, about a 10-minute walk straight into town. Recommend checking it out.

For the price, it’s a good motel in a great location. The room was clean, and it was nice having a larger fridge than most. It was surprisingly quiet, too. I’m a light sleeper and didn’t hear anything over the AC. Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly. The main downside was the small bathrooms with no counter space, plus really poor shower pressure and unpredictable temperature.

This was a last-minute stay, and I was pleasantly surprised since we’ve always stayed at another place down the street. The whole staff was very friendly, and everything was clean and well maintained.
